Condolence: Dorothy was an amazing person who lived a remarkable life. Where would we be without her Raffle Tickets! We go back a long way. The friendship between the two cottage families evolved very quickly and lasted a lifetime. I treasure the laughter we shared, the boat rides, the snowmobile rides and the dinners. Dorothy was a good soul and always had a caring and comforting way about her. She was brave too. She allowed me to cut her hair and give her perms. I will always cherish these memories.

Condolence: Thoughts of Dorothy brings back memories of many wonderful times on Haliburton Lake. She and 'Doc' were good friends of my parents, and of us, as time went by. I think of peaceful sunsets on Haliburton Lake and seeing Dorothy and Doc paddling silently by in their canoe. Even though the years have gone by, I remember her smile, her love for her husband and the outdoors. It is very fitting that she spent her last years on Haliburton Lake; it was the place she loved.

Condolence: I use to love it when Dorothy came into the store, she was something else, always strong, never judging, and always had a smile on her face. I remember the day she got her newest car, she came to the store with it, and she said to me "Oh, Maggie, is it sooooooo big, I want my other car back" and I told her that it was so big because you are so small that she needed a telephone book to sit on" she laughed and laughed, I am going to miss her, she got to live in her home till the day she passed, she was one of the strongest women I know, she will be forever in my heart. Rest in Peace Dorothy, till we meet again my friend.
