Obituary for Myra Coughlin

Myra Coughlin, 69, of Camillus, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born on Thursday, September 8, 1938, she was the daughter of Carl Abrahamse and Ethel Hunt Abrahamse. She spent her early years in Capetown, South Africa and moved to Switzerland for five years before moving to America in 1968. She loved being with her family and her cats. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling back to her beloved homeland often.

Her husband, Dr. P. Richard Coughlin, died November 9, 2003.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Celeste and Robert Greenough Jr. of Camillus; son, Pierre Metzener of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Ashleigh and Derek Greenough; sisters, Lydia Murie, Pamela Peroglou, Vera Lubbe, Jeanette Quinton and Mildred Knight; brothers, Carl, Kenneth and Raymond Abrahamse, all of Capetown; and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
