Obituary for Eileen V. Kellar

Eileen V.  Kellar
Eileen V. Kellar, 71, of Marcellus, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Community-General Hospital. Born in Long Island, NY on Tuesday, March 26, 1935, she was the daughter of Henry Walsh Esterguard and Callista Victoria Borczynski. She was raised in Marcellus since 1942 and graduated from Marcellus High School.

Eileen was employed by Traveler´s Insurance for 25 years, retiring in 2000. She was a communicant of St. Joseph´s Church and was an avid donor to the American Red Cross. She enjoyed reading, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Eileen was predeceased by her sister, Callista Kirsch, in 2004.

Surviving are her sons, Matthew (Kelly) of Howlett Hill and Michael (Barb) of New Britain, Pennsylvania; daughter, Cynthia (Bill) Piekiel of Marcellus; brothers, Thomas (Margie) Esterguard of Marcellus, Theodore (Alice) Esterguard of Howlett Hill and Paul (Janet) Esterguard of Syracuse; grandsons Shane and Nathan Kellar, Lee and Nick Piekiel; granddaughters, Abbey and Shannon Kellar; brother-in-law, Richard Kirsch of Greece, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2006 at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Camillus where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Thursday, April 27, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
