Irene Birchmeyer  Ryan
Irene Birchmeyer Ryan, 70, of Camillus, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Tuesday, April 17, 1934, she was the daughter of Severin Birchmeyer and Loretta Ryan. A lifetime resident of Camillus, she was a graduate of CCBI. Irene was an assistant manager for Prudential Insurance Co. and communicant of Holy Family Church.

Irene enjoyed traveling, her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Robert T. Ryan; daughter, Catherine (Michael) Ryan Knapp; son, Robert T. Ryan, Jr.; grandchildren, Heather and Christopher Knapp, all of Camillus and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.

Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
