Obituary for John Renzi

John  Renzi
John Renzi, 70, of Kingston Road, Elbridge, died Monday, January 31, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse on Monday, November 12, 1934, he was the son of Frederick Renzi and Viola Germani. John lived in Elbridge for 24 years. He was owner of Criterion Dental Lab. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

John was an avid camper and enjoyed his Fifth Wheel. He also enjoyed photography, especially of outdoor scenes.

Surviving are his wife of 23 years, the former Frances Pisik; sons, John F. Renzi of Syracuse and Donald T. Renzi of Baldwinsville; stepsons, Randy J. DeSellems of Camillus, Chris N. DeSellems of Baldwinsville and Jeffrey M. DeSellems of North Syracuse; sisters, Marge Detran of Liverpool, Phyllis D'Arrigo and Rose Snyder, both of Syracuse; grandchildren, Rachael Renzi, John Chase Renzi, and Shannon, Amanda, Andrew and Bianca DeSellems and former wife, Marlene.

His sisters, Mary Gentile and Pauline Smallwood, died earlier.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Thursday, February 3, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan, in the spring.
